Stillwater, examines the deconstruction and reconstruction of a bridge over the Stillwater River in Dayton, Ohio over an eighteen month period. In this series various phases of destruction and construction are recorded, yet what line and light reveal is not always concrete. Symbolic of human connection, fragments refer to the whole yet skew the often fluid facts. Shapes and objects repeat, seemingly giving clues while abstraction and muted tones leave space for personal interpretation and reflection.
